GENERAL RULES

ALL DRIVERS:

Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

With parental signature a puller may be as young as 16.

Wear a helmet while competing

Minimum of snell 90 or SFI 31.1, 31.2, 41.1, or 41.2

Use their safety restraints while competing

2.6 Pro Street Diesel and 3.0 Limited Pro Diesel

All classes must have a minimum 2.5 pound fire extinguisher within reach of the driver
mounted in the cab. Fire extinguisher must be full and up to date. -
No batteries, coolers, fuel, etc are allowed in the cab of the vehicle.

Batteries and coolers must be securely mounted.
-
-
All vehicles must have a neutral or clutch safety switch.
-
All hoods must be latched securely while competing.
-
All throttles must automatically return to the idle position.
-
All vehicles must have working brakes adequate enough to stop itself
-
Street legal classes must have front and rear brakes.
-
-
All hitches must be rigid in every direction.
-
Before, during, and after the pull the hitch must remain in the same position. No cable,
chain, or clevis can be a part of the hitch.

All hitches must have a minimum of 2 SqIn of material at all points.
-
Hitch pin must be ⅞” minimum.

Hitch must be clear and visible.
-
-
Added weights must be secure.
-
Weights can not interfere with safety devices or the hook/chain.
-
You can not exceed the weight of your class.

No additional weight can be in the cab of the vehicle.

ALL DRIVERS MUST COMPLETE AN ENTRY FORM AND SIGN A RELEASE WAIVER.

A NON-REFUNDABLE ENTRY FEE OF $40 PER CLASS IS REQUIRED AND THIS FEE COVERS THE DRIVER'S PIT PASS AND ONE HELPER PIT PASS.

Classes and Class Rules
Work Stock Gas 4x4
1. 7500 pound maximum weight with driver.
a. No hanging weight or weight bar.
b. Weight can only be added in or on bed and securely mounted.
c. No weight reduction modifications.
d. Weight exceptions can be overruled at drivers meetings.
2. Gasoline only.
a. 93 Octane Maximum
3. 500 Cubic Inch Maximum
4. Vehicle must be on the road with current insurance, registration, and inspection for the state it is registered in.
5. No engine modifications.
a. Tuning and aftermarket intake piping permitted.
b. Must have air cleaner.
c. Factory fuel injection permitted.
d. No aftermarket carburetor(s).
i. Carburetor must have a functioning choke.
ii. Carburetor must retain factory specs.
e. No aftermarket camshafts.
f. No Aftermarket block, heads, or manifolds.
g. No headers unless oem.
h. Superchargers and turbos are only allowed if they are a factory option for the vehicle and full OEM equipment.
6. Must have original drivetrain to that year, make, and model.
a. No spools or locking differential.
b. Factory gear ratios and limited slip/posi differentials only.
c. No welded differentials.
d. Must have a full OEM interior.
7. One ton and less trucks only.
8. Dual wheels and flatbeds are permitted.
a. Flatbeds must be rigid in all directions and be constructed and mounted securely.
9. Tires must be 35x12.50 or smaller
a. Dot approved tires only
b. No cuts., studs, chains or altered tires.
10. Aftermarket hoods are permitted
a. All other body panels must be stock.
11. Must have front and rear bumpers..
a. Plow mounts are permitted.
b. Grill Guards are permitted.
c. Sled stops are permitted but not mandatory.
12. 24” Hitch height maximum.
a. Hitch must be a Reese style hitch.
b. Must be in a factory location.
c. Hitch hole must be at least 3.75”x3”
d. Hitch must be the rear most part of the truck.
13. Factory Style Gas tanks only.
14. Must have oem type suspension.
a. Airbags are permitted if they are empty and disabled.
b. Rear ladder bars are permitted.
c. No suspension limiters.
d. Commercial lift kits are permitted
Street Legal Gas 4x4
1. 7000 pounds maximum with the driver.
a. Ballast is permitted only in the bed. Must be secured.
2. Vehicle must be on the road with current insurance, registration, and inspected for the state it is registered in.
a. Complete headlights and taillights are mandatory and must be fully functional.
b. Oem windshield and windows are mandatory and must function like oem.
3. Maximum 93 Octane fuel. Higher octane fuel, race fuel, methanol, or any octane boosters/additives are prohibited.
a. Tech officials can make judgment calls based on smell while going over the scale or while competing.
b. Oem fuel tank is mandatory.
4. 500 Cubic Inch Maximum.
a. Must retain stock stroke.
b. Oem intake manifold only.
c. Single 750 cfm Carburetor Maximum.
d. Must retain original style fuel system (No Carb to efi swaps, etc.)
e. Heads and block must be made from the same material as oem.
f. Aftermarket ignition boxes are permitted.
g. Superchargers and turbos are only allowed if they are a factory option for the vehicle and full OEM equipment.
5. Must have original drivetrain to that year, make, and model.
a. Torque converter lock up switches or controllers are prohibited.
6. One ton or less trucks only.
7. Oem chassis is mandatory. The engine must be in the Oem location for the body being used.
a. Wheel tubs, half back conversions, tube chassis, etc are prohibited.
b. Must retain a factory wheel base.
8. The body must be an OEM truck body.
a. The body must be entirely metal except the hood.
i. Aftermarket hoods are permitted.
b. Must have hood, grill, and fenders in place as intended by the manufacturer.
c. Must have a complete OEM firewall with no additional holes.
d. Must have OEM floor pans with additional holes.
e. Rear sled stops are permitted and can be used in place of a rear bumper.
9. Must retain full interior including dashboard, door panels, headliner, etc.
a. All factory controls must be functional.
b. Hand throttles are prohibited.
c. Style of the seats must match.
i. Aftermarket seats are permitted but must be fully dressed.
10. Cooling system must be in the factory location and must be at least equivalent in size to oem.
11. Exhaust must exit behind the cab. No open exhaust allowed. Mufflers are mandatory.
a. Exhaust must pass state inspection for emissions.
b. Headers are permitted.
i. Must have a tube size of 1.75” in diameter or less.
12. Truck must retain the factory style steering equipment.
a. No non-oem power steering systems or power steering deletes.
b. Extra steering stabilizers are permitted.
13. OEM Style suspension required
a. Front;
i. Upper mounting point for strut assemblies must be in the factory location.
ii. Adjustable Caster/Camber pillow ball mounts are permitted.
iii. The lower control arm may be strengthened but must use factory mounting points.
iv. The lower mounting point for the strut assembly may be modified for improved caster or camber
v. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, and limit straps are permitted.
vi. Traction bars are prohibited.
b. Rear
i. Bolt on traction bars are permitted. Welds permitted only for attachment to frame or axle housing.
ii. Control arms must use original mounting points.
iii. Suspension is limited to 1” of compression from ride height.
iv. Airbags are permitted if empty and disabled.
v. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, limit straps, and camber kits are permitted.
14. 35x12.50 tire size maximum.
a. DOT tires only.
b. Dual wheels, cut tires, studded tires, and tire chains prohibited.
c. Front and rear wheels must have the same offset.
15. Must have a Reese style hitch.
a. Hitch can have reinforcements as long as they do not extend past the centerline of the rear axle.
b. Hitch must be the rear most part of the truck besides sled stops.
c. 26” hitch height maximum.
d. Hooking point must have a 3”x3.7”5 diameter opening.
Enhanced Gas 4x4
1. 6500 pound maximum with driver
a. No hanging weight
b. All ballast must be securely mounted behind the grill or in the bed.
2. The body must be an OEM truck body.
a. The body must be entirely metal including the hood.
i. Metal aftermarket hoods are permitted.
b. Must have hood, grill, and fenders in place as intended by the manufacturer.
c. Must have a complete OEM firewall with no additional holes.
d. Must have OEM floor pans with no additional holes.
e. Front Bumpers must be unaltered OEM or equivalent.
i. No homemade bumpers
f. Grill Guards and plow mounts are allowed if unaltered.
3. The vehicle must retain the full OEM chassis
a. The engine must be in the OEM location for the body used.
b. Tube chassis, wheel tubs, and back half conversions are prohibited.
c. Must remain original track width and wheelbase.
4. The radiator must be at least stock size.
a. Radiator must be in a similar location as the factory.
5. Drivetrain must be OEM to that year and make of a one ton or less vehicle.
a. Axle shaft bolts must have a shield or cap.
b. Automatic transmissions require a 3 strap SFI approved blanket or SFI approved kevlar shield.
c. Manual transmissions require a SFI approved bellhousing.
6. 500 cubic inch maximum +/-1%
a. All accessories besides the air conditioning pump must be used.
i. Including power steering.
b. Electric cooling fans and water pumps are permitted.
i. Engine fan must have a 360 degree metal shroud.
c. No filling of the block.
i. Block must circulate coolant.
d. Aluminum heads on small blocks only.
e. Aftermarket cast blocks are permitted.
f. OEM fuel injection is permitted if using OEM fuel rails.
g. Single piece 4 barrel carburetor limited to 4150 base.
i. No dominators or split carburetors.
h. Harmonic balancers must be SFI approved or shielded with ¼” steel.
i. Open exhaust is permitted.
i. Must exit behind the cab.
7. Gasoline only
8. Must have driveshaft loops.
a. Shields must be made of ¼” steel or ⅜” aluminum and be 6” in diameter covering the universal joints.
b. Driveshafts must have at least two loops on each driveshaft.
i. Chain loops are prohibited
ii. Loops must be made of ⅛” steel or ¼” aluminum
iii. Loops must be at least ¾” wide and have a minimum of 2” clearance
9. 26” hitch height maximum.
a. Drawbar and Reese style hitches are permitted.
b. Hitch must be attached to only the frame.
c. Sled stops permitted.
d. Hook point must be the farthest point on the back of the truck besides sled stops.
10. Vehicle must have a working kill switch located at the center of the rear of the truck.
a. Minimum of a 2” diameter round ring
b. Must kill all battery power to ignition and fuel pump.
11. Must have factory style steering.
a. Additional steering stabilizers are allowed.
12. OEM Style suspension required
a. Front;
i. Upper mounting point for strut assemblies must be in the factory location.
ii. Adjustable Caster/Camber pillow ball mounts are permitted.
iii. The lower control arm may be strengthened but must use factory mounting points.
iv. The lower mounting point for the strut assembly may be modified for improved caster or camber
v. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, traction bars, and limit straps are permitted.
b. Rear
i. Bolt on traction bars are permitted. Welds permitted only for attachment to frame or axle housing.
ii. Control arms must use original mounting points.
iii. Solid suspension is permitted.
iv. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, limit straps, and camber kits are permitted.
13. 35x12.50 maximum tire size.
a. Tires must be DOT approved tires.
b. Cuts, studs, chains, and altered tires are prohibited.
c. Front and rear rims must require the same offset.
Super Stock 4x4
1. 6200 pound maximum weight with driver.
a. Front weights or any part of the weight bracket must not extend 60” past the centerline of the front axle.
b. Small tow hook or d ring is permitted for towing.
2. 509 ci Maximum
a. Single 4 barrel carburetor
i. Single dominator carburetor allowed
ii. 4500 base flange maximum.
b. Tunnel ram intakes are prohibited.
c. No forced induction.
d. Any conventional style head is permitted.
i. Spread port heads are prohibited.
ii. Big Chief and Big Duke heads are prohibited.
e. Must have SFI approved harmonic balancer or be covered.
f. Open headers are allowed.
i. Can be down swept or upright.
3. Nitrous Oxide is prohibited.
4. Stock appearing 1 ton or less transmission and transfer cases only.
a. Automatic trucks must have a SFI approved transmission blanket.
b. Manual trucks must have a SFI approved bellhousing.
c. No drop boxes.
5. Must retain full firewall and floor pans.
a. Trucks must have fender wells, sheet metal, or aluminum to cover the motor from end to end.
6. Maximum wheel base is 134”.
7. The rear of the engine block to the center of the front axle can be no less than 12”
8. Axle shields are required
a. 0.060 thick steel or aluminum.
b. Cannot be mounted to axle bolts of the end of axle.
c. A single hole is permitted for locking hubs.
9. 1.5 ton rear ends are allowed.
a. Military axles are prohibited.
b. Differential housings can be no larger than a 106 housing.
10. 36x14.50 maximum tire size.
a. Must be clearly labeled on the side of the tire.
b. DOT approved tires only.
c. No cut tires, altered tires, chains, studs, or dual wheels.
d. Wheel offset can be no more than half of tire width.
11. Hook point can not be less than 36% of wheel base from the center of the rear axle.
a. Measured from center of rear differential to back of hole.
12. Must have driveshaft loops.
a. Shields must be made of ¼” steel or ⅜” aluminum and be 6” in diameter covering the universal joints.
b. Driveshafts must have at least two loops on each driveshaft.

Modified 4x4
1. 6350 pound maximum weight.
a. Front weights must not hang further than 60” front centerline of front axle.
b. Front weight boxes must have 8” of ground clearance at staging and on the track.
2. 650 Ci Maximum.
a. Automotive type engines only.
b. Cylinder heads must have 2 valves per cylinder
c. Must have automotive style crankshaft.
d. Carburetors or mechanical fuel injection only.
e. 5” maximum bore spacing.
f. No digital, microprocessor, computer, or programmable ignition controls.
g. Rear of the engine cannot be further forward than the centerline of the front axle.
h. Engine must be behind the grill.
3. No traction control devices/accessories.
4. Tube chassis permitted.
5. Truck and van bodies must have a firewall.
6. Clear plexiglass or factory tint glass is permitted.
a. No mud flaps of any kind.
b. All hydraulic lines must be covered in a minimum of 0.060 thick aluminum or steel on top and sides if in the cab.
7. All air or hydraulic suspensions must have the lines unhooked during competition.
8. Planetary axles permitted.
a. Axle shields are required
i. 0.060 thick steel or aluminum.
ii. Cannot be mounted to axle bolts of the end of axle.
iii. A single hole is permitted for locking hubs.
9. Maximum wheel base is 133”
a. Wheels must be centered in wheel wells.
10. 112” Circumference maximum on tires at 30PSI.
a. 18” Maximum width before cutting.
11. Front tow hitch will be strong enough to push, pull or pick the vehicle up.
a. Only a 6x6 piece of steel with a minimum thickness of 1” and a maximum of 1.25” thickness will be allowed.
b. A round three 3” hole is required in front tow hitch.
12. Hook point can not be less then 36% of wheelbase from the center of the rear axle.
a. Drawbar cannot slope greater than 33% from the hitch point.
b. 26” hitch height maximum with hitch point no more than 1” from end of drawbar.
c. No hitch supporters or adjusters. If attached to the rear axle it can not be further forward than the centerline of the rear axle.
Street Legal Diesel 4x4
1. 8500 pound maximum weight with driver.
a. No hanging weight.
b. Weight securely mounted in the bed is permitted.
2. Vehicle must be on the road with current insurance, registration, and inspection for the state it is registered in.
3. The body and chassis must be OEM to vehicle retaining all factory body panels.
a. Aftermarket hoods are permitted.
b. OEM firewalls and floor pans are required and must not have any additional holes..
c. Must retain a full interior with oem airbags.
d. No flatbeds.
4. Drivetrain must be from a similar year, make, and model one ton or less.
5. Cooling system must be in its factory location.
a. Electric fans and water pumps are permitted.
b. Coolant must flow freely through the block.
i. No fillers in the block.
6. No turbocharger(s) restriction.
7. Turbocharger may be relocated.
a. Intercooler may be relocated or aftermarket
i. Air to air only.
b. Any exhaust is allowed but all exhausts must aim upwards.
i. Hood stacks must have at a minimum of 2 ⅜” through bolts.
8. Injectables are prohibited
9. 35x12.50 maximum tire size.

2.6 Pro Street Diesel 4x4
1. 8000 pound maximum with driver.
a. Front hanging weight must not exceed 60” past the centerline of the front axle.
2. Diesel fuel only.
a. Soy/Biodiesel permitted.
b. No injectables.
3. The body must be oem to chassis.
a. Body must retain full metal.
b. Aftermarket metal hoods are permitted.
c. Engine must be in the OEM location.
i. Front of the engine block can be no further forward than 17” of the centerline of the front axle.
d. OEM firewall and floor pans required.
e. No flatbeds.
f. Frame may be lengthened up to 158” wheelbase.
i. Longer frames (up to 172”) must retain the OEM body.
4. Drivetrain must be OEM to similar year, make, and model of vehicle.
a. Axle shields are required
i. 0.060 thick steel or aluminum.
ii. Cannot be mounted to axle bolts of the end of axle.
iii. A single hole is permitted for locking hubs.

ii. Factory valve angle.
iii. Factory material.
e. Aftermarket intake manifolds allowed.
7. Turbocharger is limited to a 2.6” smooth inducer bore.
a. No map width groove enhancement(MWE).
b. Compressor wheel must protrude into 2.6” inducer for ⅛”
i. a 2.605” plug will be used to check and the plug must not enter the inducer bore or touch the wheel.
c. Air to air intercooler only.
8. Only one p pump is permitted.
a. Maximum of p7100.
b. Ag governors permitted.
c. 13mm plunger limit with one plunger per cylinder.
d. Powerstrokes may use a second hpop.
e. Common rail trucks may use multiple common rail pumps.
9. Exhaust must exit the hood or vertically behind the cab.
a. Two ⅜” bolts must go through the exhaust perpendicular of each other within 12” from the turbo.
10. Hand throttles are permitted.
11. 35x12.50 maximum tire size.
a. Dual wheels are prohibited.
b. Cuts, studs, chains, or altered tires prohibited.
c. DOT approved tires only.
12. 24” hitch height maximum.
a. Drawbar style hitches only.
b. Hitch point must not be closer than 44” from the center of the rear axle.
c. Drawbar height adjustment link must be at axle centerline or below if attached to rear differential housing the attaching point.
d. The drawbar adjusters cannot attach to anything above the centerline of the rear axle.
e. The adjusters must go down from the drawbar. The adjusters can only go straight downward vertically or towards rear differential housing. No hitch supports or adjusters fastened to rear axle housing shall be above the center point of the rear axle.
f. No slotting of holes for adjuster attachment.
g. Pivot pin of the drawbar can be no further forward than the centerline of the rear axle.
13. A safety kill switch is required.
a. The switch must cut air off to the engine.
b. It must be mounted securely to the rear of the vehicle and have a 2” diameter ring attached to it.
c. The switch must be able to be activated from the driver's seat.
14. Hydraulic steering is permitted.
15. Bolt on raising or lowering modifications are permitted.
a. Welds only permitted on frame or axle.
16. Suspension may be solid.
a. Upper mounting point for strut assemblies must be in the factory location.

Limited Pro Diesel 4x4 3.0
1. 8000 pound maximum weight with driver.
a. Front hanging weight must not exceed 60” past the centerline of the front axle.
2. Diesel Fuel only.
a. Soy/biodiesel is permitted.
b. Fuel cell is permitted in place of a fuel tank.
3. The body and chassis must be OEM to vehicle retaining all factory body panels.
a. Aftermarket hoods are permitted.
b. Engine must be in the OEM location.
c. OEM firewall with no additional holes required.
d. Complete metal floor pan required.
e. No flatbeds.
f. A bed floor is not required.
i. A bed cover is required if there is no bed floor.
g. Only one seat is required.
h. OEM windshield is required.
i. The Driver's side window must be functionable.
j. Complete headlight and taillight assemblies are required.

4. Axle shields are required
a. 0.060 thick steel or aluminum.
b. Cannot be mounted to axle bolts of the end of axle.
c. A single hole is permitted for locking hubs.
5. Must have driveshaft loops.
a. Shields must be made of ¼” steel or ⅜” aluminum and be 6” in diameter covering the universal joints.
b. Driveshafts must have at least two loops on each driveshaft.
i. Chain loops are prohibited
ii. Loops must be made of ⅛” steel or ¼” aluminum
iii. Loops must be at least ¾” wide and have a minimum of 2” clearance
6. 460 ci maximum
a. Engine must have 3/8 cable surrounding #1 and #2 cylinders and must pass through the manifolds with 4-6” of slack.
i. Minimum of 4 clamps on cable.
b. No billet steel or billet aluminum heads.
c. Aftermarket intake manifolds allowed.
7. Turbocharger is limited to a 3.0” smooth inducer bore.
a. No map width groove enhancement(MWE).
b. Compressor wheel must protrude into 3.0” inducer for ⅛”
i. a 3.005” plug will be used to check and the plug must not enter the inducer bore or touch the wheel..
c. All exposed velocity stacks must incorporate a 1/16” or greater steel cable in a cross pattern or some sort of deflector in case the wheel comes forward.
i. The vehicle’s driver will be responsible for making the compressor wheel/bore accessible for inspection by the Tech Officials.
d. Water to air intercoolers are permitted.
8. No injectables.
9. The injection pump must be designed for the amount of cylinders in the engine.
a. Dual hpops or high pressure fuel pumps are permitted.
b. A 3 way dump valve mounted before the injection pump is mandatory.
i. Must be able to be operated by the driver while strapped in the seat.
c. Ag governors permitted.
10. All engines turning 4500 RPM or higher must be equipped with a harmonic balancer or damper meeting SFI Spec 18.1.
11. Exhaust must exit the hood or vertically behind the cab.
a. Two ⅜” bolts must go through the exhaust perpendicular of each other within 12” from the turbo.
12. Hand throttles are permitted.
13. 35x12.50 maximum tire size.
a. Cut tires prohibited.
14. Planetaries are prohibited.
15. Manual transmission;
a. No cast iron clutches or flywheels permitted, must be SFI approved.
b. SFI bellhousing blankets and/or SFI approved bellhousing required.
16. Automatic Transmissions;
a. All vehicles using an automatic transmission must have an SFI Spec. 29.1 automatictransmission flex plate. No cast iron is permitted.
b. All vehicles using an automatic transmission will use a positive gear lockout.
c. All automatic transmissions must have an approved safety blanket over the torque converter area.
d. A full length safety blanket is required. Automatic transmission shields or blankets must meet SFI Spec. 4.1
